Classic Clubbing at an Exciting New Venue

Birmingham's Broad Street is well known as a magnet for clubbers and food lovers. This wide street near the centre of the city is alive with entertainment in the form of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

The newest venue in the road - and one which offers all of the above - is 6 on Broad Street. Opening last September after a £1m makeover, it's a stunning location stretching across two floors and comprising six different rooms, each with its own exclusive look, feel and music.

This is the ideal destination for those who love to eat, socialise and party on any night of the week.

Stop at the Junction

Find 6 on Broad Street in a modern, glass-fronted building, set behind a wide timber decked area which looks likely to be a popular place to sit outside on warmer evenings.

Downstairs, the trendy industrial style entrance leads through to the spacious Junction Room with its modern American loft feel. A huge, impressive space which takes you deep into the building, it's accompanied on one side with a long bar running almost the entire depth of the room.

Open for food from 5pm, there are plenty of different seating areas, along with a booth for resident DJs who start warming the place up with music once the evening progresses.

Totally Tropical

A wide metal staircase leads to a selection of rooms upstairs. At the top, a sharp left takes you inside the wooden-walled tropical beach hut setting of the Cabana Bar. The ideal stop-off for a few zesty cocktails to get clubbers in the party mood.

On the other side of the staircase are the dusky depths of DownLoad; a stripped back bar and dance area with the feel of a basement club.

The neon-lit, industrial style Club room next door hosts comedy nights at weekends and, with its very latest state-of-the-art audio system and light show, is a fantastic space for hundreds of dancers afterwards.

Psychedelic

For those keen for some classic clubbing, with neon floors and lighting, and the very best of retro pop, then let the rainbow illuminated tunnel draw you into Delicious.

A fabulous space of dark floors, walls, pillars and hidden seating pods, it's decorated and lit throughout with psychedelic paint, disco balls, strobe lighting and fluorescent dance floors. A full-on, in-your-face nightclub package guaranteed to get even the most reluctant dancer on their feet.

And finally, see if you can find Suds and Duds; a speakeasy-style lounge and bar with an exclusive feel emphasized by the fact that it's so hard to find. Take the hidden door or access via the side street outside, through what looks - to those not in the know - o be a launderette.

For eating, drinking and dancing you can find 6 on Broad Street at 259-262 Broad Street, Birmingham B1 2HF. Tel: 0121 632 4936. They're on the web at 6onbroadstreet.co.uk , and you can look them up on Facebook , Twitter and Instagram.
