The Kings Arms in Church Street, Whitchurch was first built in 1575, becoming an inn in 1675, so the fact that it’s an historic building is in no doubt. Therefore, when owners Red Oak Taverns decided to undertake a major refurbishment of the pub earlier this year, they knew it was essential to preserve the heritage of the building whilst introducing a few up-to-date facilities at the same time.
